Spectacular Sunsets can be seen on  Magnetic Island - sometimes the intensity of  colour that floods the sky can be almost breathtaking - and you never see the same sunset twice - one day you'll look up to see deep red, auburn and orange, the next day purple and magenta, the next, blue and pink. It truly shows what a magical place Magnetic Island is.

The best place to watch the sun go down is either Horseshoe Bay (whilst you enjoy a jug of Sangria at Noodies, or a Pina Colada at the Marlin Bar) or for an uninterrupted view, the pristine beach at West Point will offer you the best seat in the house when it comes to sunsets. West Point can only be reached by 4WD, and in the rainy season sometimes not at all (by land), so Get Around Island Boat Tours can take you there by the only other way - water! Bring along nibbles and a bottle of wine or a few beers, find yourself a spot on the beach (you'll have it all to yourself!) and marvel at the beauty of the sun and all it's colours as it slowly slips over the horizon.
